IN TW again

Just to let you know that I have arrived safely in Taichung, although my luggage seems to still be somewhere in Europe…

So I am now all hot and sweaty, with no change of clothes, on my way to the first meeting of the trip, and one of the most important. Oh well, at least the flight was uneventfull and went smoothly enough.

Didn’t sleep much but saw a few more films that were pretty good. One about the Bolyn (sp?) sisters from Henry the 8th court and the other about New York being attacked by a huge monster – a mix of Blair Witch filming, Godzilla and September 11th…

World Cup Valnord Andorra – the mechanics go Riding…

After the rush of Saturday work, I got the chance to go for a ride with old-buddy Mark and new-buddy John on the Anne Caro track back down to La Massana.

It is one of the very sweetest trails I have ever ridden…. Superb!

There are essentially three sections, from the top you drop into the woods on buffed, brake-bump free, rolling singletrack. Little jumps and hips everywhere, most corners are dug for some railing berms action. Thats’ where this video was taken.

Then lower down there is a great piece of “Lakeland” style rocky, loose, 100% natural walking track. But the jing and jang of the different surface means it’s fun!

The lower bit is mostly just to get you back into town, along a muddy, slippy, slidy little singletrack. On it’s own it would be ‘ok’ – but here on this 15 minute descent it’s a very nice desert!
