I’m a compulsive bike collector – as a few-up wife and full-to-bursting garage will attest.
From time-to-time I do a clear out, so here are some things which I have for sale right now:
Marin Mount Vision Pro
KHS Folding Bike
Unbranded beginners Trials Bike
Shimano shoes (all size 43) boxed and brand new: SHM152, RW01, SHR150, T092
Various clothing – new and used (no clammy chammy’s though…)
Old samples: bags, baskets, panniers, bells, kickstands, a few Shimano mechs…
Over time I will get these listed up on-line, and sell them off little by little through the forums at Singletrack, Bike Radar & Velo Vert.
Everything is in the condition I describe, I’m not out to make a fast buck – but just clear out some old things I don’t need anymore + get some bash in so I can buy more new things that I don’t need…
I’m trying to not use eBay anymore, although I used to love it (with a 90+ positive rating), but problems with getting scammed (I sold some XTR cranks, which were signed for at delivery, the bugger then claimed a refund – so the cash got debited from my account… cost me the goods plus the cash.. ), and a long scare list of other peoples miss-deads and Paypal issues (just google it) lead me to no longer trust many of the people on there.
I am therefore no longer eBaying anything until they make the steps needed to protect their customers – hiding behind the excuse of “we are just a third party” doesn’t wash. Not when their revenue from PP is as high as it is. You wouldn’t expect to buy something from Amazon – then when it never turns up – get a series of automated e.mails blaming the author… Yet eBay operate that way, and it’s your money they are loosing.
